Democrats to go gaga over Gore again in 2008???

I just had an epiphany... What if, on Thursday, January 20, 2009, at exactly 12 noon Albert Arnold Gore, Jr. would finally be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States?

All would finally be well in this country, would it not?

I mean, you have a laugher of a primary battle not just banging up, but brutally (& publicly) raping all of his best competition to death for the nomination...

There really is no way that people can truthfully tell me that they will not unite around Al Gore...

So, why not a healthy, rested Al Gore in 2008. He did only say that he wasn't seeking the nomination this year, but perhaps after a statistical tie in the balloting or two he might be 'persuaded' to come out of his self-imposed retirement to run for the highest office in the land.

Maybe only then will he realize that he is needed by the American people & the world as a voice of calm and intelligence in the most important office in the world.

What will that lead John McWar to do? An all out REVOLT among Republican ranks will occur, but to nominate whom? Newt? Jeb? Condogina????

I honestly do not think that any of them can truly hope to defeat Gore. They can only hope to stem the damage from the dam of Republifascist lies and deceit as it is swept away by a flood of support for the candidate who would have this country in FAR better shape than any other person.

While the two unique characters in this play are nothing if not interesting, they aren't any match for this admittedly dull, white man of intelligence, experience, ability to cause true change, and absolute moxie.

I have seen this since, believe it or not, last August.

Al Gore has perhaps the keenest political mind in the country.

If you don't think he saw a scenario EXACTLY like this one popping into his head, oh, say about 20 years ago when he lost the Nomination despite winning 6 primaries on Super Tuesday then you are deceiving yourself.

That, at the very least, is the direction I see the Presidential race heading into...

What do you think?
